Bridging the Gap in Neuro-Oncology for a Healthier Sub-Saharan Africa
The Society of Neuro-Oncology in Sub-Saharan Africa (SNOSSA) 2026 Annual Scientific Meeting will be held in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. The meeting will serve as a premier platform for the exchange of research findings, clinical experiences, and innovations in neuro-oncology relevant to the Sub-Saharan African context.
The conference will address critical regional gaps and challenges, including limited access to advanced diagnostic imaging, neurosurgery, oncology services, and palliative care. It will also promote dialogue and advocacy aimed at strengthening policies that support equitable access to comprehensive neuro-oncology services across the region.
Guided by a vision of sustainable growth, the meeting seeks to build capacity in research, training, and mentorship, with a strong focus on empowering early-career African scientists and clinicians to lead the future of neuro-oncology in Africa.
